Pupils who arrive in the classroom after the House tutor has called the first name in the Register (late!)will be marked late in the Register and will do a ten minute detention at the end of the day. The House tutor will stamp the pupil’s planner with the “arrived late” stamp.
If a pupil arrives to school after the gates are closed at 8.45a.m they will be given a late mark at reception.
Parents will be contacted and students will be required to attend a detention that day after school for one hour.
Four lates in a term will require students to attend a Saturday morning detention.
Persistent lateness will require parents to attend a meeting in school with the Head of Year and further action taken.
